Highlights:

Earning 'Best Buy' awards for the last 3 years, the Sole E95 is the premium home elliptical in the Sole lineup. The impressive 29 lb flywheel and high gear ratio (not commonly found at this price point) gives you a super-smooth ride that doesn’t jerk or jump even when you pick up the pace.

The power incline ramp ranges from 0 – 40 degrees, great for lower body crosstraining. And the specially-designed footpedals keep your body in neutral alignment to reduce to stress on the joints. You can also adjust the slope of the footpedals for the most comfortable fit.

Our Review:

The Sole E95 elliptical is their heavy-duty model in the series - and great for heavy or frequent home use.

It carries a super-heavy 29 pound flywheel which gives you a smoother ride without the jarring or stuttering you can get with cheaper machines.

Another thing we love about this elliptical are the adjustable footpedals. You can turn the dial to adjust the toe-heel angle to a fit that feels most comfortable for you. This is ideal for people with high arches or flat feet.

While all Sole ellipticals come with power incline, the E95 gives you the highest level of incline - up to 40 degrees. Considering many mid-priced ellipticals only give you up to 20 degrees, this is almost double. Experience athletes will love the extra challenge.

And of course the Sole E95 elliptical is built like all Sole models - with the 2 degree inward angle to the footpedals. This keeps your body in a more neutral alignment as you workout and can help reduce the strain on your back, hips, knees and ankles

The console itself is one of Sole's best - large window, blue and backlit. You can easily see all your workout stats like calories, time, RPM, pulse, workout program and more. There's also a racetack display to show you where you are in your workout.

Any drawbacks?

If you're on a budget, this may not be the elliptical for you. If you still want Sole quality, you may want to consider the Sole E25 instead which comes in under $1000.
